HOW TO LOCK DOWN AN IPHONE WORKSHOP

One of the most important things a parent can do to help their child escape being addicted to their phone and ensnared by soul destroying content is to “lock down” their phone to restrict the apps and usage time available.
For example an iPhone can be set up to only allow calling, texting, whatsapp, email, camera, and maps. Social Media Apps and internet browsing can be completely removed. As the child gets older, more specific apps can be added with option of time limits, for example Kijiji app could be added with a 30 minute per day maximum.
The Iphone is the only phone known to the committee which has this functionality at this time. Similar solutions advertised for Android phones are very easy to work around.
This workshop will walk through the steps on how to utilize this functionality.
